This beautifully colored African cichlid (family Cichlidae) is found in the Lake Tanganyika.

Care tips

  • Rocky Tanganyika tank setup
  • Omnivore but mainly herbivore eater

  • Aggressive (keep in species specific tank)
  • Keep as a colony

Tropheus sp. black 'bulu point' is also known by Tropheus moorii bemba, Bulu Point Tropheus and Tropheus moorii 'bulu point'.

Below you can find photo and video collection of the Tropheus sp. black 'bulu point' that my father have kept in the past. I personally have no experience with this species and African species in general. My father have had successful breeding attempts with the colony he cared for.
