This beautiful African cichlid (family Cichlidae) is found in the Lake Tanganyika. The species is classified as vulnerable.

Tropheus duboisi 'maswa' is also known by White spotted cichlid, Blue-faced duboisi cichlid, Narrow band duboisi, Wide band duboisi and Broad band duboisi.

Below you can find photo and video collection of the Tropheus duboisi 'maswa' cichlids that my father have kept in the past. I personally have no experience with this species and African species in general. My father have had successful breeding attempts with the colony he cared for. Sorry for the poor quality images, some date back as far as in the early 2003.
