Heros efasciatus 'ucayali blue'

This colorful South American cichlid (family Cichlidae) is found in the Ucayali River which is the main headstream of the Amazon River. Often mistaken with Heros severus. H. efasciatus are substrate-brooders whereas H. severus are mouth-brooder.
